The first cold morning of the season. Coffee in one hand, the dog waiting at the door, errands after that. You want to be warm without feeling bundled up, and you want to look put together when you run into someone you know at the store.

Corinne is a zip-up hooded jacket in a thick faux-shearling fleece, with a soft cream lining that shows at the hood. It has two deep front pockets for your hands and your keys, and a full-length zipper you can wear open over a sweater or closed against the wind. It falls to mid-thigh, so it covers what a short jacket leaves out.

Sizes S to 3XL (Sage in M to 2XL). It runs small, so take one size up. Zip it, pull the hood up if you need to, and go: comfortable, warm, and clearly on purpose.

Material: thick faux-shearling fleece, 100% polyester; it has the look and feel of shearling but there is no wool or lamb in it
Lining: soft cream fleece lining that shows at the hood; the body is lightly lined
Cut: relaxed, straight cut with a hood; no waist shaping, so it goes over a sweater
Length: about 28 inches from the shoulder in size M to 30 inches in 3XL; it lands around mid-thigh
Hood: fleece-lined hood with a drawstring
Sleeves: long sleeves with ribbed cuffs that keep the wind out
Pockets and closure: two front pockets, full-length front zipper with a ring pull
Trim: a small woven label on the front and stitched lettering across the back
Care: machine wash cold on the gentle cycle, hang to dry; no tumble dry, no iron
Colours: Dusty Blue, Sage, Dusty Rose and Camel

Runs small: the maker cuts about one size under US sizing. Order one size up from your usual, so a US M takes L. Between sizes? Take the larger one. The bust below is the garment all the way around, so compare it with a jacket you already wear over a sweater.
