A cool morning in October. You pull a cardigan over it, grab your keys and go. By three in the afternoon, nothing digs in. Nothing has slipped. You have not thought about it once. That is the whole point of this one.

Marielle is a square-neck tank with the bra already in it. Soft one-piece cups that sit where they should. Wide straps that stay on your shoulders. No hooks, no underwire. The knit is smooth outside and brushed soft inside, so it is warm against the skin. It lies flat under a shirt or sweater, with no lines at the sides. The cups lift out for washing.

Sizes M to 2XL. There is no size above that. It runs very small, because the maker sizes it by body weight. Take two sizes up from your usual and check the chart before you order. Wear it on its own at home, or as the first layer under everything until spring. Comfortable, supported, and done thinking about it.

Material: smooth stretch knit, brushed soft on the inside for warmth (the maker's thermal fleece fabric); no wool. The maker does not state the fibre mix
Built-in bra: one-piece soft cups sewn into the front; no underwire, no hooks, no clasps. The pads lift out from the inside so you can wash them separately
Cut: fitted through the body with smooth, seam-free sides; it skims rather than squeezes

The maker sizes this tank by body weight, not by dress size, and each label sits about two US sizes under what you would expect: the M is made for 88 to 110 pounds, the 2XL for 154 to 176 pounds. Pick your size from the weight range below rather than from the letter; if you are between two, take the larger one. There is no size above 2XL, so if you usually wear a US 16 or up, this one will be too snug.
