Saturday. The farmers market, then coffee on a friend's porch. You run into people all morning. You want a top you put on once and forget. No pulling it down when you stand. No tugging it off your middle when you reach.

Winifred is that top. It has a real collar with a short button placket, so it looks like a shirt. But it pulls on over your head like a T-shirt. It is a light woven polyester with the print on it, cut loose and straight. It hangs from the shoulder and leaves you alone all day.

Sizes S to 4XL, in five colors. It runs true to size with room built in, so take your usual size. Put it on, tuck nothing in, and go. You have better things to do than fix a shirt.

Material: lightweight woven polyester with the print on it (the maker calls it a 3D-effect print); it is not cotton or linen, but it is thin, airy, dries fast and needs little ironing
Cut: relaxed and straight, with room through the bust and the middle; it hangs from the shoulder rather than following the body
Length: 25.2 inches (S) to 27.6 inches (4XL) from the shoulder at the front, a little longer at the back; it sits below the hip
Neckline: pointed shirt collar over an open V, with five small buttons on the short placket; wear it open at the top or closed higher
Sleeves: short, loose sleeves that end above the elbow and cover the upper arm
Hem: curved, slightly longer at the back, with short slits at the sides so it moves when you sit or reach
Closure: none; it goes on over the head. No pockets
Care: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, hang to dry; a cool iron if you want it smooth
Colours: Brick Red, Navy, Mocha, Aqua Stripe and Teal Paisley

True to size. This top is cut relaxed on purpose, with about six inches of room across the bust in every size, so take your usual size. Between sizes? Take the larger one. The bust below is the top measured all the way around, so compare it with a loose shirt you already own; the length runs from the shoulder to the front hem.
